How cool is that!?

Hello dear friends,

I have not forgotten you, I try to keep up and leave a comment here and there but most of my time is spent decluttering my house. I am hoarder, a real one, so this has been a ginormous task.

I have lived in this house for 26 years and letting go of my safe place is a process. This house has seen me happy and sad, sick and whole. I have no idea where I am going but I know it's time to move on. But I am taking my time, slowly untangling myself from this phase of my life.

Only one room left to declutter and some ceilings to paint. The end is in sight.

My miniatures are packed, my houses stowed away. I have withdrawal symptoms but I must be strong. I really want to get this house on the market so I can look for something else.

However, in the meantime, I was contacted by a nice lady scouting tutorials for Dollhouse World and she liked my wrought iron made from quilling paper.

I sent in a tutorial and it was published!!
How cool is that? I can say that I am an internationally published crafter 😂

I will leave you again, sending you all my love. Wait for me, I will be back!

Last post of 2018

In a few hours, 2018 will come to an end and a brand new year will be before us.

I end the year with some accessorising of the bedroom.
I should finish the build of the house but I dread working with the wood which is of such bad quality therefore I am stalling. Till next year 😂.

An eye pencil and make-up brushes

A friend of mine made the perfume bottles

By the way, the sweater was purchased

I made the mirror, the dressing table and stool

And two bed side tables

Slippers made of charms painted with nail polish.

That's it for this year. I plan on selling my 1:1 house next year which means I need to make space and clear clutter. No idea what that means for my mini time but hopefully I will be able to squeeze some time in between the 1:1 life struggles.

Thank you for following my blog in 2018, thank you for your comments, support and compliments. I look forward to seeing you all here in 2019.

Happy New Year!
Bonne Année!
Feliz Año Nuevo!
Guten Rutsch!
Gelukkig Nieuwjaar!

Last post before Christmas

I made some time for miniature plants for when the Christmas decorations are taken down.
But I should have done some clearing up and vacuuming.  Ah well, there's always tomorrow 😉.

Orchid

Amaryllis

I also added a wardrobe to the bedroom

That's it for today. I wish you all a Merry Christmas. May it be a time of peace and love.

Chairs and more

Last time I left you with one dining chair and an empty tube of glue. That glue proved elusive and the shop that promised it to me got delivered the wrong one. They gave me their own tube, barely used. So I could finally finish my dining chairs.

While I was gluing away, I decided to make a chair and footstool for the living room.

And because it's almost Christmas, it was high times to start decorating. As the house is still being built, the owners have decided against a tree but that doesn't mean it can't be festive.

While I was battling my nutcracker's beard, the postman rang (once 😉) and delivered a package from Birgit from https://biwubaer.blogspot.com

In the package was a beautiful Christmas card, cute Christmas decorations, marzipan and the cutest calendar for 2019 with Fluby and Rosey gracing the pictures of  each month. Thank you so much Birgit for spreading Christmas cheer ❤💗💖

I continued the decorating

Years ago, I bought a little brown corner cabinet. I didn't know what to do with it until now.

I am of course out of glue again, so we will see what's next 😉

Thank you for visiting my blog and for commenting. I really appreciate it!
